About the LNG plant
Natural gas is transported via a 3.2km pipeline offtake from the Dampier Bunbury Pipeline, to the LNG production plant at Maitland where it is liquified (turned into LNG). This allows for efficient transport by road train. The LNG is then hauled via transport fleet to four power stations.
The plant is capable of producing 180t of LNG each day and is powered by our onsite 8.9MW power station.
