EDL appoints Michael Wythes as Chief Financial Officer
EDL is pleased to announce the appointment of new Chief Financial Officer, Michael Wythes. Michael has worked for EDL for more than fifteen years, most recently as General Manager, Finance. Michael’s extensive industry knowledge and commercial insight will add great value to EDL’s Executive Leadership Team.
Michael succeeds Susan Marrinan, who is retiring after more than eight years with EDL.
James Harman, CEO, said Michael’s appointment represented the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new phase of growth.
“We appreciate the tremendous contribution that Susan has made to EDL over the past eight years – a period of significant growth for EDL.
“Michael has been a part of that story and is a natural choice to step into the role of CFO as we carve our path for the future. We thank Susan for her significant contribution to our business. Her wisdom, intellect, intuition and sharp wit will be missed, and we wish her well in her retirement,” said James.
Michael said taking on the role of CFO felt like a natural progression in his journey with EDL.
“After fifteen years with the business, I’m looking forward to stepping into the role of CFO and continuing to build on the strong foundations built by my predecessor and respected colleague Susan.
“We’ve formed a team that focuses not only on numbers, but on the vision of the whole business. EDL continues to grow – establishing new footprints and expanding our portfolio, building on our reputation as a reliable and trusted energy partner. “I’m excited about what the future holds for EDL,” said Michael.
Michael commences in the CFO role on 1st May 2026.
