About the power stations
Oaky Creek I power station was commissioned in August 2006 and ownership rights were transferred to EDL in April 2014 following acquisition of Envirogen assets. The station currently operates 14 Jenbacher G320 and two GE Jenbacher J620 EGM’s for a total station capacity to 20.9MW utilising gas supplied from Glencore’s mine.
Oaky Creek II power station was commissioned in April 2016 and has five GE Jenbacher J620 EGM’s for a total station capacity to 15MW.
