About the power station
The station is connected to the local municipal utility distribution system and the regional PJM Interconnection, providing energy to homes and businesses across northern Ohio including the Lorain County landfill.
The station includes 10 1.6MW and eight 1.365MW reciprocating gensets.
In 2012, the project was upgraded from 11MW to 27MW and is forecast to produce renewable energy beyond 2070.
